Installation Journal: FTH1217 and ADS-SD2 Deployed at IOI City Mall

IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, Malaysia is one of the country’s largest and most popular shopping destinations, home to a wide variety of restaurants and food service operations. With increasing kitchen activities and wastewater output, the need for a reliable grease separation and drainage system became a priority. To meet this demand, the mall management selected our FTH1217 grease trap, paired with the ADS-SD2 Auto Dosing System.

 

Once the project was confirmed, our team conducted an on-site assessment to understand the layout and installation constraints. One of the key challenges was limited kitchen space, along with fixed drainage routing. The FTH1217, with its compact design and high-efficiency stainless steel build, proved to be an ideal fit—durable, easy to clean, and engineered for tight kitchen environments.

 

Following this, we installed the ADS-SD2 Auto Dosing System, programming it to periodically transfer the separated grease to a designated container—completely hands-free. This eliminates the need for manual cleaning and helps maintain hygiene standards effortlessly.

The entire process was completed in about three hours, with minimal disruption to kitchen operations. We then conducted a thorough functionality test, walked the client through system operation, and provided on-site training.
